After months of preparation two talented high school teams competed on November 19th against students from across South Florida in the annual ISSF Geography Bee. Hosted by The Independent Schools of South Florida organization the day-long competition in Coral Gables tested our students’ knowledge of physical and political geography, current world events, and geographic history. Hebrew Academy students performed admirably against experienced competition in their first-ever appearance in this Geography Bee. A special congratulations goes out to the 11th-grade team for their success in reaching the quarter-finals.
