Our Girls Varsity basketball team scored a huge win last night, traveling down south to beat local powerhouse Gulliver Prep 48-35. The Warriors were led by Junior Eli Wolfson’s twenty-four points. Wolfson connected on four three-pointers and seven free throws, helping her rack up her season high in points. The Girls’ second leading scorer was Junior Tali Winer, who contributed her season high with seven points. Adding six points apiece were Senior Ella Turetsky and Junior Shana Strohli. The Girls Varsity team improved their regular season record to 2-0. Our Varsity Boys Basketball team beat Scheck Hillel on Monday, November 18th by a score of 63-39. Leading the Warriors to victory was Junior Caleb Gdanski, who had 17 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Other key contributors for the Warriors was Senior Zach Schuster, who added 10 points, and Sophomore Simcha Rosenberg who scored 12 points. Our Middle School Girls Basketball team beat Renaissance Pembroke Pines this week, by a final score of 40-2. 7th Grader Sheli Haggiag led the Girls with 12 points, followed by 8th Grader Violet Wagner who dropped 8 points in helping the Warriors to a lopsided victory.
