On Sunday, seniors embarked on their Jewish Heritage Experience in Warsaw, where they began by touring a synagogue that miraculously survived the Nazi invasion, despite the destruction of 400 other shuls. This particular synagogue served as horse stables for Nazis during the war. They also paid respects at the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising Memorial.

Today, they visited Tyokchin, a small town tragically marked by the Holocaust, where the Jewish population was eradicated by the Nazis.
