As part of their study of Number the Stars, our fifth graders had a profound and unforgettable experience. They invited their classmate Benny Susi’s great-grandfather, a Holocaust survivor, to share his powerful testimony.
This special opportunity brought history to life, allowing students to connect the themes of the book with real-life courage and resilience.
