The Hebrew Academy community came together for an unforgettable evening at this year’s Light the Path Gala, a celebration that embodied the spirit of this year’s theme: One Nation, One Heart. Held in a beautiful and inspiring setting, the event highlighted the strength of our community, the power of leadership, and the shared values that unite us. One of the evening’s most heartfelt moments was the presentation of the Light the Path to Leadership Award to Yael Delgado and Diana Sragowicz. As Co-Chairs of the PTSA, Yael and Diana have infused Hebrew Academy with new energy, vision, and warmth. Their tireless efforts have deepened connections between students, families, and faculty, and we are profoundly grateful for their leadership and dedication. The Light the Path to Education Award was presented to Morah Kathy Eson, a beloved educator whose influence has touched generations of students. With a steadfast commitment to Torah values and the nurturing of young minds, Morah Kathy has helped shape the foundation of Jewish education at Hebrew Academy and beyond. We were also honored to present the Light the Path to Action Award to Kfir Lebovich, whose devotion to the safety and security of our school is unmatched. His selflessness and quiet leadership are a source of strength for our entire community, and we are thankful for his continued vigilance and care. In a special moment of appreciation, the school surprised Board President Jean Kim-Lehmann with a gift recognizing her extraordinary service over the past four years. Her unwavering leadership has guided Hebrew Academy through growth, change, and progress, and we are thankful for her enduring commitment. The evening reached a powerful crescendo with a moving performance by Noam Buskila, an IDF reservist and musician, whose presence reminded us of our deep connection to Israel and the brave individuals who defend it. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Gala Co-Chairs Nicole Kavana and Yael Kohn, the Host Committee, our Board of Directors, and all of the generous individuals, families, corporations, and foundations who make our mission possible. Special thanks to the administration, faculty, staff, and student volunteers who helped create such a meaningful and memorable event.
