Today, Hebrew Academy had the privilege of hosting families displaced by the horrific events of October 7th, in collaboration with Project 24. Our elementary students greeted them with songs to begin their day. The visiting families joined our high school students for a shared breakfast. They also viewed our Wall of Hostages, a poignant tribute to those affected by the tragedy. The day culminated in a ruach filled Shabbat assembly, celebrating resilience and community. In recognition of their strength and courage, these families were honored as our Warriors of the Week!

Project 24 was established shortly after the October 7th events to address the real-life needs of those affected. By connecting Israeli communities with North American Jewish communities, Project 24 creates tailor-made projects that offer support and healing for everyone involved.
