We extend our deepest thanks to all who joined us at the 76th Annual Light the Path Gala on Sunday night. It was an evening of beauty and warmth, as our community came together to celebrate our beloved school. One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the Light the Path to Leadership Award to The Schottenstein Family. We honored them for their exceptional generosity and unwavering commitment to shaping a brighter future for our students. Their support has made possible the Jay and Jeanie Schottenstein Family Building, a facility that will benefit generations of Jewish students to come. We also had the privilege of recognizing our kindergarten teacher, Morah Lisi Wolfson (’94), with the Light the Path to Education award. Morah Lisi has been an integral part of our school for twenty years, impacting the lives of countless students past and present.During our Legacy Tribute, we honored the memory of Elaine Brauner Dobin Z”L, a true Hebrew Academy legend and our longest-standing board member. Her dedication to the betterment of our school, alongside her roles as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, will forever be remembered. May her neshama have an aliyah. The evening ended with a moving performance by the one and only Yaakov Shwekey. We express our deepest appreciation to our gala co-chairs, Nicole Kavana & Yael Kohn, the Host Committee, and all individuals, organizations, corporations, and foundations whose ongoing support and generosity enrich Hebrew Academy.
