Our 8th Grade Holocaust documentary elective, Names, Not Numbers, launched on Thursday. This powerful program transforms traditional Holocaust education by immersing students in a hands-on documentary film project. Students engage directly with Holocaust survivors, conducting oral history interviews and preserving their stories for future generations. As part of this impactful experience, students also had the opportunity to hear from a journalist from the Miami Herald, enriching their understanding of storytelling and historical preservation.
