This week, our Middle and High School proudly participated in Red Ribbon Week, a time dedicated to raising awareness and providing education about teen substance use. Our theme this year was “Dare to be Aware. Why? Because we Care.” We focused on the importance of education and provided our students with the tools and knowledge to make their own healthy choices. We partnered with Jewish CCSA (Communities Confronting Substance Use & Addiction), a division of Ohel, to bring dynamic programs for students in grades 6-12. These programs were designed to engage and educate, with members of the greater Jewish community sharing stories of their personal struggles with addiction and inspiring students to make smart choices. In addition, we hosted a special parent program, providing valuable resources and support for families. Students loved our daily giveaways, each one including a statistic or fact about the dangers of teen substance use. It was an exciting and impactful week, empowering students, parents, and the entire community to stand up for healthier, drug-free lifestyles! Categories (tags): High SchoolMiddle School
