Our Middle and High School students engaged in meaningful activities throughout the day. In the morning, all middle school students gathered in the auditorium for davening, followed by a candle lighting ceremony. Afterwards, they attended presentations by our 8th grade “Names Not Numbers” students who shared their insights on resilience during the Holocaust. Our students learned about how special lifecycle events were observed during the Holocaust and the strength these observances provided. Sixth and seventh graders presented what they learned during the last period of the day in the auditorium. High school students participated in grade-level programs, utilizing survivor testimonies to engage in meaningful discussions.
